What’s New in Ubuntu Smartphone:
The Ubuntu operating system is quite different from commonly used smartphone operating systems like Android, Windows and iOS. Ubuntu smartphones will have Scopes instead of Apps.
Scopes are home screens that feature clusters of similar contents like Pictures, Music, News and Videos on a single screen. Like photo Scope will show pictures from phone as well as from web albums of Flickr and Picasa. In this way, Scopes offers similar or related contents on a single screen rather than on different screens in apps.
