Samsung Galaxy Note 7 now launched at Rs. 59,900 in India


Samsung has unveiled its latest GenNext phablet Galaxy Note 7 in India at Rs. 59,900, just after its two weeks of the global launch. The smartphone will be available for sale after the first week of September this year. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 brings many specification breakthrough in smart phone segment esp. with its Iris Scanner.

Samsung has taken the wraps off of the Galaxy Note 7 which is now the company’s most expensive smartphone offering in India lately. Its Display, Design, S pen, Monthly Security Update, Water Resistance, Battery Life Charging Options & Amazing Camera is what makes Galaxy 7 stand apart from its competitors.

It sports a display of 5.70-inch Super Amoled panel, with 1440×2560 pixels (QHD) resolution. The new Galaxy Note  7’s screen is curved on two sides has the “Edge UX” software & is is protected ‘Corning Gorilla Glass 5’.

Its ‘S Pen stylus’, which adds well to its functionality that comes with an improved 0.7mm thin tip & enhanced pressure sensors. The device & its stylus is also now water resistant (IP68 certified), which is another notable feature of this phablet.

Talking about the camera, the Galaxy Note 7 packs a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 12 megapixel for the rear. It also flaunts a new camera features such as ‘Dual Pixel’ technology.

It features a processor of 1.6GHz & 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Galaxy Note 7 is powered by the octa- core Exynos 8890. It operates on the OS Android 6.0.1 Marshmellow, and soon is expected to get Android Nougat by the end of this year.

It carries a massive internal storage summing upto 64GB and expandable up to 256GB. The gadget supports two SIMs as well as a microSD card exhibiting better usage. 3500MAh is quiet a good & long lasting battery capacity of Galaxy note 7.

One of the best feature of the Note 7 is its Secure Folder, which can be accessed once the iris scanner setting is enabled. This feature basically lets the users access user’s private files and also allows a user to run a second instance account of an app parallely. This feature also fascilitate secure storage of photos, memos, and apps.

Other specifications of the smartphone includes phase detection autofocus (PDAF), USB-Type C port, optical image stabilisation (OIS), speaker grille, 3.5mm audio jack, microphone and auto-HDR etc. The phone weighs approx. 169 grams only.

Lately, the Samsung’s skin has gone through certain cosmetic changes which resulted into building up  an interface with less bloatware, this model is available in colour variants of Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx and can be bought from shopping websites and Samsung stores very soon.
